Where it All Began
Guestia’s journey began as part of a technical delivery to support a principle sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia. We had to create a platform that supported both the hospitality experience of up to 3,000 guests as well as the operational team on the ground.
After the success of this event, we discovered a gap in the market for an event and travel app geared towards hospitality and more specifically sports hospitality.
The Team went away for 18 months to make improvements and develop further features to create the product we have today. Towards the back-end of 2019 Guestia signed their first major customer, McLaren Formula 1 Team.
